Day 1 - 2 Beijing

Your tour in China starts with a warm greeting upon arriving at Beijing Airport, followed by transferring to your hotel. Next morning visit the Temple of Heaven, one of China’s architectural masterpieces. Observe local people practice Tai Chi, calligraphy and singing in its neighboring park. Leisurely walk through Tiananmen Square the largest square in the world to the Forbidden City the most glorious imperial palace in China. Head off the former imperial resort - the Summer Palace to see the lavishly decorated temples, halls, courts, and the Long Corridor, enjoy a relaxing Dragon boat ride. Sample the famous Peking duck for dinner while marveling at an amazing Kung Fu show, featuring a fusion of modern musical with Chinese traditional martial arts! (B/D)

Day 3 Beijing - Great Wall

Today is one of highlights on your tour in China. Walk the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu section! Take a cable car up to one of the many watchtowers to view the winding wall as it rise and fall over mountains into the distance, walk your way down. Visit the Sacred Way, the Ming Tombs and a Cloisonné workshop to see ancient craftsmanship on way back to your hotel. (B)

Day 4 Beijing

On the last day of Beijing Tour, visit exquisite courtyard mansion of Prince Kung, followed by a scenic walk along the side streets to the lake. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the zigzag alleyways called Hutong to catch a glimpse into traditional Beijing life, before a high speed train ride to Xi’an. (B)

Day 5 Xi’an

Today is one of highlights during your tour in China, visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses, where you will find 7000 individually crafted clay soldiers standing on the ground. You will get a chance to learn how to make these warriors at a workshop. See the intricately carved murals and feel the Buddhists chanting at Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Taste dumpling dinner before the extraordinary Tang Dynasty culture show. (B)

Day 6 Xi’an/ Yichang

Add a dash of adventure to your China Holiday by cycling on the original City Wall; explore the Old Muslim Quarter, home to a large Chinese Muslim population and traditional Chinese temple architecture with Middle Eastern influences. Fly to Yichang, transfer to your cruise ship. (B)

Day 7 - 9 Yangtze River Cruise

Unwind yourself on the tour in China, Sail through the Three Gorges and enjoy magnificent views of various peak shapes, rolling hills and small towns along the river. Onshore excursions to the Ghost City of Fengdu, take a Sampan (wooden boat) tour to one of the Yangtze’s tributaries, pass through the world’s biggest five level ship lock. Day 10 - 11 Chengdu

Day 12 - 13 Lijiang

Continually travel in China to Lijiang, explore ornately carved wooden buildings, teahouses and cobbled streets interspersed with mini canals and streams at Dayan Ancient Town. Wander around Black Dragon Pool Park for a spectacular view of Jade Dragon Mountain and visit the landmark of Lijiang - the pure wood Wangu building on top of Lion Hill with gorgeous views over the town. See a giant 500-year -old Camellia tree at the peaceful Tibetan Yufeng Monastery, stroll through Naxi people village and see the collection of unique artistic style and historic murals in the village. Day 14 - 15 Tiger Leaping Gorge / Shangri-La

A relaxing drive to the first bend of the Yangtze River during the Tour in China. From there, you’ll visit the world’s deepest gorge – Tiger Leaping Gorge, and then continue on to Shangri-La, a land of forests, grassland, mountains and Tibetan culture. The next day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the mystical Songzanlin Tibetan Monastery, then go on a nature walk. (B)

Day 16 - 17 Kunming

Fly to Kunming, visit one of China’s natural wonders – the Stone Forest, where you will see bizarrely shaped limestone cliffs and peaks. Stroll at the picturesque Green Lake and observe locals’ leisure life during your China holidays. Experience an overnight train to Guilin. (1B/1D)

Day 18 - 20 Guilin

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, explore “Palace of Natural Art” Reed Flute Cave and view the beautiful vista of the Elephant Trunk Hill. Experience the spectacular Li River cruise, which goes past bizarre-shaped mountains, villages and water buffaloes. Day 21 Shanghai

Shanghai is an international metropolitan city on this tour in China, stroll along the historic riverfront Bund, where you see 52 magnificent colonial buildings and the contrasting view of “old and modern” Shanghai. Experience an enjoyable adventure on the underwater tram through the ‘sightseeing tunnel’, featuring light show and music as it takes you from the Bund to the Pudong New Areas. Indulge yourself with a panoramic view of Shanghai from the top of the Jin Mao Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world. In the Old Quarter of Shanghai, you will head down the exquisite Yu Garden and neighbouring Bazaar where you will find modern shops in old style buildings. Day 22 Zhouzhuang

Drive to the ancient water town of Zhouzhuang, explore the picturesque narrow canals, cobbled allays, stone bridges and traditional residences, then relax at the waterside teahouses. Drive to Suzhou and pass through fertile farmlands, lakes and canals. Sample a local specialty dinner. Stay 1 night in Suzhou. (B/D)

Day 23 Suzhou

Visit the charming Humble Administrator’s Garden and the fine Master of the Nets Garden. Stroll along the Grand Canal to observe local life and visit a silk factory to learn the history and production of Chinese silk before returning to Shanghai on the last day of the Tour in China. (B)

Day 24 Depart Shanghai
