An adventure of a life-time through one of world’s most mysterious, remote and interesting places: the Tibetan Plateau from Lhasa to Nepal or vice versa. Visit Lhasa - “The Roof of the World”, admire the spectacular scenery of Yumdrok Lake, visit fabled monasteries in Gyantse and Shigatse, drive across vast mountains, deep valleys and century-old caravan trails to the Mt. Everest Base Camp to see unrivalled views of the north face of Mt. Everest. Venture into the Rongbuk Valley and stunning mountain town of Zhangmu, before entering into Kathmandu.

Day 1 - 3 Lhasa Tour

Start your adventure tour China to Nepal with a private airport to hotel transfer in Lhasa on the first day. In the next two days, take a tour of Lhasa. Visit the world-famous architectural wonder – Potala Palace, towering over the entire mountain. This is where the Dalai Lama spent his winters. Visit the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred place in Tibet. Wander through a market at Barkor Circuit where you will be surrounded by prostrating pilgrims. Enjoy a Tibetan specialty dinner. Visit the Norbulingka Park, it was the sites of the Dalai Lamas’ Summer Palace. Explore the impressive Sera, and observe interesting debating monks at Drepung Monasteries. Enjoy a backstreet walking tour of Tibet Quarter and overlook the Lhasa Valley from the hilltop at Pawang Ka. (2B/1D)

Day 4 Lhasa / Gyantse / Shigatse

Continually this adventure tour with a scenic drive to Tibet’s holy Yamdrok Lake - a sparkling turquoise lake flanked by snow-cappedpeaks. On the way, you will see local nomad camps, herds of yaks and sheep and beautiful mountains and peaks before arriving Gyantse. A tour of Gyantse includes a visit to the remarkable architectural masterpiece of Kunbum Stupa with its nine levels rise in the manner of a step pyramid, and then drive to Shigatse , the 2nd largest city in Tibet. Day 5 Shigatse / Shegar (4,150 Meters, 150 Kilometers, 3-4 hours)

Today starts a tour of Shigatse, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery to see its famous statue of Maitreya Buddha decorated with gold, copper, pearl, amber, coral, diamond and other precious stones and other many treasures, such as characteristic wall paintings, featuring the variety of shape resplendent colours and exquisite painting, and then visit the summer palace of the Panchen Lama, also called “The New Palace”, covering an area over 500,000 square meters, enjoy the beauty of mountain views from the palace before travelling to Shegar, a small town is often used as a base by mountain climbers preparing to ascend Mount Everest. Day 6 Shegar / Mt. Everest Base Camp(5,050 Meters, 205KM, 3-4 hours)

Today is the highlight of this adventure tour to visit Mt. Everest Camp to view the north face of Everest (8848m), get your camera ready! and get up early. Drive over the Pang La Pass (5150m), the view from the top is incredible, with uninterrupted views stretching from Makalu to Shishapangma. Below the pass, Everest is initially hidden from view, but as you turn the corner into the Rongbuk Valley it reappears, more impressive than ever. Arrive world’s highest monastery - the Rongphu Monastery, a Buddhist pilgrimage site founded in 1902, where meditation huts used by monks and hermits for over 400. Take a short ride on a local bus to Everest Base Camp, the mountain stands before you, soaring 8848m into the heavens. As this privilege is usually reserved only for expeditions, the camp where mountaineers prepare for their mighty journeys ahead. Stay overnight at a basic lodge in Rongbuk. If the weather is not permitted, drive to Tigri for an overnight stay.(B)

Day 7 Everest Base Camp / Zhangmu (2,300 Meters, 245 KM, 4-5 hrs)

Watch the sunrise on Mt. Everest, with the north face of the world’s highest mountain soaring above you, drive to Tingri, before crossing another 2 high passes - the Lalung La (5,124 meters) and the Shung La (5,200 meters). Take in the magnificent views of the surrounding peaks. Then, begin your descent from the Tibetan Plateau to Nyalam, just 30 kilometers before the Nepalese border. With a dramatic change, everything suddenly appears lush and green. Overnight in Zhangmu.(B)

Day 8 Zhangmu / Kathmandu (1,350 Meters, 123 KM, 4- 5 hrs)

Drive the last few Kilometres to the Friendship Bridge, spanning the Bhote Koshi River on the Chinese-Nepalese border. Say goodbye to your Tibetan guide and driver and walk to the Nepalese Immigration Control in Kodari, where the Nepalese tour staff will meet you, drive to Kathmandu.(B)

Day 9 Kathmandu Tour

Morning relax at your hotel, afternoon visit Boudhanath Stupa – the world’s largest stupas, famous for its painted eyes on all four cardinal points. See Swayambhunath, an ancient religious complex consisting of a stupa, shrines and temples. Below is a sublime view of Kathmandu Valley. Explore Patan Durbar Square, home to more than 50 stunning temples and shrines. This evening enjoy dinner and a cultural Nepali dance performance. (B/D)

Day 10 Depart Kathmandu

This remarkable China to Nepal adventure tour ends with a private transfer to Kathmandu airport. (B)
